Which works more efficiently on Apple computers- DirectX or OpenGL? I know that DirectX works with Windows mostly but this is under the Bootcamp option (or virtual mode).

An Apple computer booted into Windows is just like ANY other WINDOWS computer booted into Windows.

OpenGL looks to get some nice boosts from multithreaded games and OpenGL 2.1 in Leopard.

There is no DirectX support in current virtualization products -- including Parallels for Intel and Virtual PC for PPC. It's been promised in future versions of Parallels and there's no word yet on whether DirectX support will be part of VMWare for OSX.
