if you could only have 1
Tough choice. I'd probably go with the PS3 if God of War II was going to be released for it Although the Wii looks like a blast!
EDIT: didn't read the poll options
Wii...which is the only one I have!
Definitely the Wii.
Availability is supposed to be a lot better towards the end of the month.
Already got a Wii. So I'll have to go for 360.
Wii, you can't beat Ninty's titles like Mario (and it's spinoffs), Zelda, Metroid, etc. I'd rather play a less graphically intense game in a new way than the same stuff over and over again.
A DS Lite
I've never been in the unfortunate position where I had to choose just 1, and I couldnt do it.
I have to have all of them
If I could only buy one video game system, it'd be a ds lite, then a Wii, then a PS3.
Aesthetics, size, power usage, games, control, simple, software.
I already own most of the consoles
2 DS Lites - 12 Games
PSP - 14 Games
PS3 - 4 Games (2 PS2 Games i wanted to play)
Wii - 7 Games (8 including Wii Sports)
I vote Wii. Not really a gamer but voted for it because the doc said I spend too much time in front of the Mac and need to move around a little.
well i said the 60gb PS3 since its the only one i don't have. although i suppose thats not what the topic is asking... in that case, 360.
Has to be the Wii for me.
well i am buying an xbox 360 so ill go with the 360
Already have a 360 "pro", so I'd buy a Wii, but be given a PS3 *cheapskate*
Wii definetly a wii!
interesting that no one has voted for the 20 gig ps3 but 10 have voted for the 60 gib why?
I own em all including handhelds so......
360 Pro version. Can't imagine a better feeling controller and functionality across the board.
Love just tapping the Xbox logo and turning the console on.
Love playing my ipod through the Xbox while playing Burnout or Need for Speed.
Love the graphics AND the great gameplay. Anyone that thinks Wii has a corner on the gameplay market cuz they have some games with minigames is missing out on quite a bit. There are some creative and fun games on Xbox that aren't getting as much press such as Viva Pinata and Cameo.
Love playing a FPS and my movements being precise...not jumping randomly as the mote senses wrong (has happened to me many times in all the various Wii FPS's)
Love showing my clients slideshows on my HD TV thanks to the media streaming options on the Xbox in HD!
Love having an online live system that is actually used
Exactly. I keep saying but to me the 360 is the perfect foundations for a mint gaming system for the reasons you listed above. I just wish it had some games that really appealed to me. But Viva Pinata (AC on speed) and Kameo (typical Rare outing minus charm) wouldn't be good gameplay showcases. XBLA is probably what I would have said on the gameplay front
Almost forgot Contra on Xbox live download
Also love playing Fifa 2007 on my Xbox 360...how's that gameplay on the Wii jk
And I love playing a co-op game of Vegas online with folks back home in the States while I'm over in Thailand.
Don't love that they refused to sell them in Thailand and so we're forced to buy an import from either Japan or Hong Kong (with all the Hong Kong ones being modded...and games costing 5 bucks ) Wish it was in English and I would have picked up a sweet Blue Dragon combo for around 300 US.
Don't judge games before youv'e played them. Saying they arent good gameplay showcases when you havent experienced any of the gameplay is like complaining about the food at a resturant without taking a bite.
Viva Pinata has similarites to AC, but on the whole is a far deeper and rewarding game than any of the AC games, and has far more gameplay ideas crammed into it too.
Kameo has no charm ? Kameo is full of charm, its puzzles far more involving than TP and the life and colour it brings to it's world is somthing magical. Add co-op play to the mix and its gameplay is top notch.
Why was the post changed from "Which would you buy" to "Which would you buy PS3 or xBox 360?
