Isn't that how it's supposed to be? I have a black boot screen with a white iphone.
Yes. Old news
Ok, but i'm wondering why mine isn't white?
People only/mainly noticed this on iPhone 5, not other iOS devices.
Oh, alright thanks. Because i recently got my device swapped out for a refurb and was wondering if it was a defect or something, haha.
I don't think the color of the boot screen could be a defect
Don't they like reuse parts from different iPhones?
Yeah, that's true. But it's pretty much software related.
Only the iPhone 5 currently has different coloured boot screens depending on colour, which would mean if apple release differenent coloured iPhones maybe we may see blue/pink etc ?? Who knows
Yeah, but only the same model and they have to be working correctly. Boot screen color isn't a defect unless it's a screen issue which what you're describing isn't. I believe only the iPhone 5 has the matching boot screen color.
Ahh ok. Thanks for the explanation guys.
They do, but the color identifier would be correct.
I actually think you can see the color of your iPhone on the icon in iTunes when it's connected (however, I have a black one, so I am not 100% sure - I just think it shows a white when you have a white iPhone).
But as the others have said; it's only for the iPhone 5.
Ah ok. I'll check next time I plug my phone into iTunes.
what if the boot screen match with iphone5c colors, that will be awesome.
