    Support Our Troops indeed. This administration sees the troops as pawns to be used and exalted when it serves their purpose and tossed aside when that suits their purposes. It's quite disgusting. It could even be called unpatriotic.

    Uh-huh.

    Sickening. Bush takes money out of the hands of war heroes to dump it in the laps of his m/billionaire friends.

    The cynic in me is on overload.

    Q: how does a band fire its bass player?
    A: it doesn't. it "breaks up" and reforms without him.

    problem is, the bass player sees right through that BS.

    Three sad semesters/
    It was only fifteen grand/
    spent in bed - I thought about the Army/
    I dropped out and joined a band instead/
    Grew a moustache and a mullet/
    Got a job at Chik-fil-A - citing/
    Artistic differences the band broke up in May/
    And in June reformed without me/
    And they got a different name/
    I nuked another Grandma's Apple Pie and hung my head in shame, oh...
