"The Super Mario Bros face each foe undaunted time and time again"
    :D

"Two of the baddest of the bad guys are the Hammer Bros."
    XD

Ahh a time when Nintendo was just starting the videogame revolution.

Are they heroes to professional plumbers, for being "super"? Or are they shameful stereotypes of plumbers who do side jobs like rescusing princesses when they are supposed to be fixing leaky sinks?

At 03:37 in this video, you can see the one-up trick on the staircase at the end of level 3-1. I got killed many times trying to get that trick to work, and it wasn't nearly as easy as it looks!

I think that Ron Leiland person's haircut is a far greater offense to humanity than any racial slur that can be inferred from the brothers.

Although, ahem, on the US cartoon, they do refer to themselves as Mario Mario and Luigi Mario.

God, now I want to play that game. If I accidentally stop by the store and get a DS Lite and NSMB on the way home from the hospital (tough feat, considering my apartment is about 300 yards from here and the store is about 2 miles from here! :D ) then it's all your fault!

I remember when the Mario/Zelda cereal came out (two serials, same box in different dividers). And then again when Super Mario 3 came out, they had fruit snacks and these fruit juice boxes... Man, this is back when Nintendo was the BEST. Awesome video... awesome, awesome video!

We have a Super Mario board game in the closet somewhere. Is that worth anything?

Nintendo fruit snacks were the best. McD's also had those toys which were pretty cool (Atleast for me at the time). Those were the days.

I swear that I remember NES being more expensive than a hundred bucks.

At any rate, adjuste for inflation that's $171. Which I guess is still cheap for today's cutting edge standards.
