You know how fantasy novels always have those people called "The Chosen One" or "The Dark One" or whatever? Which character, good or evil do you think has the best title?

My vote goes to Thomas Covenant of the Donaldson series. Ur-Lord Thomas Covenant, Unbeliever and White Gold Wielder. Long-winded and still sounds cool as hell? IN!

    Haha...nice. :)

I think, although I really don't care for Robert Jordan's novels, and couldn't even finish one of them, I will have to go with The Great Dragon from his stories. :)

Or Weapon from Final Fantasy VII, but it doesn't exactly count. :)

Always thought the 'Witch-King of Angmar' was suitably creepy... also have a fondness for 'The Groke' from the Moomintroll books.

I thought that was John Carter?

Benedict: Prince of Amber, son of Oberon, Master of Arms at the courts of Amber. Lord-protector of Avalon during the Patternfall war.
Dworkin: Lord of Chaos, creator of the Pattern of Amber.

Well Dworkin is just a killer name anyway.. (as is Oberon)

What a society that would be... if God inspired no feat in men by making them unsure of their eternal salvation.

I'm drawing a blank because its so long, but young Adam's (the Anti-christ) title in Good Omens by Niel Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and I can't look it up right now cos its on loan to someone.

Damn. What's his title. Anyway, it's that.

Lord Vader of "Star Wars" has to be in the top 10 on the list.

Also Lord Voldemort from "Harry Potter."

Dark Lord form "Lord of the Rings."
