Ummm, because an analyst downgraded the stock on what was basically an assumption that apple would be unable to perform well even though they have displayed otherwise countless times.

I know people that work "the market" - here's what they do.

    1. Take a company that historically does well, and "downgrade the stock".
    2. Buy stocks low...
    3. Company announces it has done well this quarter, beating expectations.
    4. Stock goes up...
    5. Sell stocks high...
    6. Buy new Yacht, Jet Plane, or private resort...
    7. Go back to step #1 with same company...

If plan doesn't work, ask Government for "bailout"...
