Its a simple question, all of the last 100 films have been leaked before hand, even Star Wars attack of the clones, which they had like a security team escort...

There have been like no plot summaries, almost no critics have seen it, what gives?
What did they use to stop people from getting it?

    why does this work?

I don't want a Discussion on how/where the others were leaked, remember no piracy!

I've read it, but it contradicts something said by another 'spoiler' so I don't think either know what they are taking about.

Normally when you see a movie you have the same plot...

It is because the Wichousky brothers kept the tightest security possible, so people wouldn't know what it was about, and would jump to see it, I think. Just a little propoganda. :)

it has been leaked and my friend has it. i checked it out for a little while but refused to watch it because im seeing it in the theaters. i also have the leaked script, but i also read that they leaked out 4 fake scripts but more than likely i have the fake, but i dont care. i also have a "suppose to be" leaked trailer for matrix revolutions. i have never seen the footage in any of the other matrix trailers so it could be real. there is one thing in the trailer that contradicts it self so im not sure. i would say it but i dont want to ruin the movie for the others. im gonna show the trailer to my friend who has seen reloaded and im gonna see if he has seen this footage. ill let you guys know how it goes tomorrow. if you guys dont care about the movie and you want to ruin a big part of the movie just email me or something or talk to me on aim.

In reality, they also leaked out 4 fake movies :)

I had a dream about the movie. I dreamt the movie began with Morpheus taking an Asian guy through a large building. So it was probably not consistent with the actual film :)

I do not want to know anything about the movie until I see it.

The first time it came out there were no trailers, nothing, I saw the title and went in to the theather, I was so shocked! my life before and after. The movie got popular 2 weeks after that because of word of mouth, no a single promo, nothing! until it was so big that a month after the promos started. I think it was avery good merchandising technique, the movie is way too good and no need even trailers.

the movie's official release is on the 15th but 2000 theaters in the US were allowed to show it at 10PM local time on Wednesday, so no legal worries. And I had the first 200 MB of it downloaded to my comp but didn't want to watch it until I got it all and that was about a week ago ( I can't be sure). If you couldn't find it in the gnutella you should try Kazaa, you can use Neo if you don't have it.

I don't know why it hasn't leaked yet, and frankly I'm not all that bothered. I prefer to see movies of that sort on a big screen; in fact, I'm waiting two weeks for the IMAX release of Reloaded before I see it.

Now, if LOTR: ROTK leaks before it's released, I won't give a rat's ass, and download it as soon as possible. The running time for that will be 4 hours, 20 minutes. Mind-blowing! Oh yes, and from all the rumors going around, it sounds like Sauron will be making a personal appearance at the Battle of the Black Gate!

well the copy that is floating around is in telesync and is terrible quality and the sound is horrid. there are just some movies that should be seen in the theaters, and this is one of them.

The Australian press release version on the movie which was on Wednesday (A day before actual public screening) was strict on security.
You had to sign a non-disclosure aggreement, you were frisked for any recording devices and if you did they were permanently confiscated.

There is a version available on Bittorrent. It is camera shot, the quality isn't great for special effects, but not bad for trying to figure things out.

For instance, after the first fight, Agent Smith says "That went as expected" and then the other says, "Yes, It is happening exactly as before" to which the other replies "Well, not exactly"

This did not stick with me the first time I saw the movie, but on the second run, it says that things are different this time in the matrix, and the end might not be the same as the last time.

im not looking at any spoilers, and telling everyone not to talk about it in fromt of me untill i see it. most likely next weekend:D

bootlegs online are horrible quality and sound. it echos, and when you try to watch it full screen, there is sometimes a slight miss-sync between the video and the audio. never dpwnloading another movie online again. unless if it's a leaked harry potter:D

i hardly ever download movies. last movie i downloaded was better luck tomorrow. that was just because it didnt come to my town, it was ok quality, it as vcd screener version. the best luck ive had with a movie is when i downloaded the two towers. it was 3.2gb and was a full dvd rip, i couldnt tell the difference between it and a dvd.

I think people who download movies should at least have the courage to sneak into a theater, or shoplift the DVD.

Just like people who download music should have the courage to shoplift the CD :)
