Why Security Pros Use Macs

    The company I work for regularly has outside security consultants come in to evaluate our network and they almost always use Macs. It's cool to see, although it sucks when they don't clean up their .DS_Store files that they leave all over our SMB file servers.

    FWIW, Windows folks have been using VMWare for years to do what he's doing with Parallels...

    I'm not sure I'd want to do this for security testing. When the host and test boxes are running the same OS, there's too many opportunities for your test-malware to escape the petri dish.
