Right after it got done with the setup, and tested the connection (says it was successful), it gave a progress bar, then stopped with an Internet Error #blah blach "please check your manual or nintendo.com"

I've configured my router to work with my DS in the past, aren't these the right settings? Is it something to do with TX Rates? I have it set to 54, like for the DS...

Sometimes you have to try more than one time to do the trick.

There is a firmware update, and the Shop Channel is up for VC downloads.

I tried 4 times now, this is frustrating. :(

The Nintendo servers are also suffering from a DNS propagation issue, maybe try changing DNS servers. This will be sorted out soon hopefully.
Maybe you're one of the unlucky people affected.

    (I wish I was, but I can't find a Wii anywhere!)
