I'm wondering if my Mac can share an internet connection with the Wii. I don't have a wireless router so I'm looking for other options. Looking in the Sharing Preferences i noticed that I can share my internetz with Bluetooth and my extra ethernet port. Will the Wii connect to the internet with Bluetooth?

Also I have a generic Wifi card, it's not Airport but a third party card with the same Airport architecture. It works fine connecting to wireless routers but I don't think it can be used as a makeshift router. The wifi card is in Slot 4 and when it is highlighted, "Airport Options..." is still grayed out. Maybe there's some kind of work around...?

Nah you can't share the "internetz" with the Wii via Bluetooth. It needs to be a 802.11 device.

As for how to get your wireless card to act as a access point, I have no clue. Does it work otherwise in your laptop? You do have drivers for it and everything? Maybe it's in the software provided with the card?
