I'd kind of like to get one and Best Buy always has an 18 month no-interest deal going on but I've never seen the 4GB versions in the store or on-line. Is there any chance they will get them?

I know others have no interest deals, but I already have a Best Buy card and don't want to open another account.

    TIA

Doubtful. I'm not aware of a case when Best Buy had custom configurations of any Macs.

    no.

the RAM and processor options are BTO/CTO options, and thus only available from Apple. some authorized retailers simply order the BTO devices for retail sale or order direct using a "drop ship" type sales system, but it has to be ordered specifically as they're not catalogue items. since it's not a catalogue item, Best Buy will never opt to carry them.

i spent time as a district supply manager for BB during the time when BB and Apple worked out their retail agreement, and BTO products were specifically "off the table" so Apple could maintain the upperhand on BB's sales.
