If you order one on June 17th, will you get OS 3.0 free, pre-installed or or maybe like some registration code through itunes?

My guess would be yes, but it wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't, if I remember rightly, when software 2.0 came out, it was quite a while before the iPod touchs were updated, and you had to pay the $9.95 fee to upgrade.

They will not ship with 3.0 :( i asked one of their representatives on Apple's website and thats what he said. It will most likely be standard in September when the new iPod Touch comes out.
