Well, thanks to my school, I'll be getting FinalCut Pro Studio this week, free for services being rendered.

    I'm using a Macbook Pro 2.16 with 2GB RAM and 256MB X1600.

I'm basically wondering will Motion 2 sort of choke on this computer? I don't think it should be a real issue, but I want to make sure so I know what to expect.

    Thanks!

    should be ok

You should be ok - motion is a beast, but I run it on a dual 2.5 with 3gb ram...i don't see the mbp having any trouble with it!

    good luck

When I first looked at this I thought you said you had 256MB RAM, I was about to laugh at you. But you should be fine with that system, after all it is Apple's pro line so it's made to run that stuff =]

I will mention that you shouldn't get your hopes up too high.

it will work, and it will work well- but you can choke any system depending on what you're telling it to do.
