I have a 65WHs PowerBook G4 Al 15" Power adaptor. If I plug it into my iBook G3 Clamshell will my house go up in sparks. Now it connected to a surge protector but I also don't want to lose a arm in the process
I think it will be fine. You need the 65W to charge the 15"PB because it uses more power, the 45W won't be able to charge the battery with the PB turned on. But you can use the both the 45W and 65W with the iBook G3.
This 65W adapter from ifixit says it is compatible with the iBook G3 and all Powerbook G4s.
Oh, it's a clamshell! I missed that part and thought it was a dual USB. It will only work with the adapters that came with clamshells or the Powerbook G3s (either yoyo, black Apple, or 3rd party). Hope you find one.
