Hi,

I don't know if a similar thread has been posted before about this topic but do you guys think that the iPhone 7 will finally come with the optical stabilization feature (as seen in the 6+/6s+ models)?

Probably not.

I'm sure Apple could have included it in the 6/6s if they wanted to, but they had to find things to cut so they could differentiate (aka justify) the extra $100 you had to spend on the plus models.

Expect the same this round as well.

It probably was a move to differentiate 6S/6S+, but I don't think it was to justify the extra $100... They are going to keep the $100 difference even with OIS on both.

I believe Apple should introduce it with all three size phones, and increase the cost only for the size screen. Some people like the smaller size but, shouldn't be penalized for it, holding back an important addition. Why should anyone be forced to get a more expensive phone just to get the OIS when many don't like the larger form factor ?

Maybe Apple will use a single lens OIS camera in the 7 and a dual lens camera in the 7 plus (as rumored)?

If the 6s had OIS, I would have opted for it over my 6s+. Apple's stubbornness to not include it in the 6/6s/7 is frustrating. If Samsung ever released their phones here in the US without the added carrier bloat, I would be tempted to buy it instead.
