Will the iPhone 7 have wireless/inductive charging?

I really hope it does. Especially if they remove the headphone jack.

I stream music all day at my desk and using data really uses up the battery. I would love to be able to rest it on a charging pad rather than having some horrible splitter. Would get a second one for my bedside too.

There have been rumors that Apple has been working on true wireless charging technology (proximity charging, no pad). I don't know if Apple would introduce existing "wireless" charging and then turn around and introduce another one in the near future.

I would bet that unless it's something new like proximity charging, they will not. They have not done it yet which means they(like me) don't see much use for current wireless charging.
