Its a simply question who thinks there will be a mac mini update within we'll say 2 months?? I am planning on buying a mac mini and yes i'm a "switcher" so i want my first apple to count. Also any suggestions if there is an update what will it include? Oh yeah dawson if your reading this i dont want your opinion.

i concur, mac world paris allong with G5 powerbooks.

i expect 1.42 and 1.67GHz minis with radeon 9600's 512MB ram standard and 2GB dimms supported

I agree with all of that, except the G5 Powerbooks. I'm betting on right before school starts along with the reintroduction of the 17 inch monitor.

thats the time, ibooks are the main student book and apple wants to sell off old stock, MWP is near enough to the beginning of the academic year and a large launch show.

i'll know before all of you anyway, i'll be at MWP with my ibook on IRC reporting the announcements.

I don't think there will be a 17" monitor from apple with prices falling this fast.
Also, if there were a 17" it wouldnt be WS as the screen would be just too small, but that would screw up their sleek ACD line they have now, so don't count on it.
My money is on 1.5 Ghz / 1.67 Ghz G4 with 512 MB RAM, an ATI 9600 64MB with 60/100 GB HDD and perhaps even dual layer superdrive around mac world paris.

I forget what rumors site said it, but they said look for an update in July.
