I have a problem for installing Windows 8 on my Macbook pro mid 2007.
The optical drive is broken so I have to think of an other way to install Windows 8 on my Macbook.
I have tried different ways for installing Windows but all the things I have tried didn't work.
Options I have tried :
- External optical drive -> doesn't work on my Macbook Pro tried diffrent ones.
- Bootcamp -> tried diffrent Windows versions with a bootable USB Stick and USB HDD 2,5". But all versions and ways I have tried I get a folder with a question mark.
- Have installed rEFIt and created all kinds of bootable USB stick and HDD from all kinds of Windows versions but then I get al kinds of diffrent errors from boot errors to mac don't support errors.

Does someone have the same problem as I have and fixed it.

p.s. I thought of a way to disamble the internal disk and connect to a windows computer and install it from a windows maby that's the only way to do this. But I hope someone has a better idea.

Thanks in advance. :)
