Windows equiv of Mac keystroke

    Anybody know right off hand the Windows equivalent of the option-8 Mac keystroke that gives you the bullet? :eek:

    The character is U+2219 in Character Map, but there's no keystrokes for those Unicode characters, unfortunately. You'll just have to call up Character Map and include it that way (but the font you're using might not even have that character - such is the way with Windows...). I found it in the Arial Unicode MS font; I don't know what other common Windows fonts have it.

    • Hold Down the ALT key and press 0149 on your "numeric keypad" then release the ALT Key.

    … Alt-0133 will give you ellipsis

    “ Alt-0147 will give you open curly quotes

    ” Alt-0148 will give you closed curly quotes

    That's more than you asked for but those are the ones I needed when I first got into DTP years ago. You should search the web for an ASCII symbol chart. Adobe has one on their site as well.
