Hi I can't seem to open a windows media file it's a .php. Everytime I try to open it it opens a the windows media dowload page. Several other people are having this same problem. Is there any way to open this with real player or quicktime?

You need a plug in for quicktime to play windows media files:

    www.flip4mac.com

    This should do it.

.php files are dynamically-generated web pages, not media files. Is the Windows Media file located on a .php page?

I assume the problem the OP is having is with windows media files embedded in php pages.

It's located on a web page...so I guess the php has nothing to do with it.

Okay...so yes, installing the Flip4Mac plug-in linked by ChickenSwartz should enable you to view the video.
