Lately I've been noticing some strange symbols in the OSX menu bar.
The icons appear next to the clock when the computer wakes from sleep and i have to put in the password. They are gone after login. I've been searching the web and couldn't find any info about them. They also appear to change on a daily basis. Yesterday it was a "plus-minus" sign, today it appears to be the Chinese symbol for gold (although im not sure).

I'm running OSX 10.11.5 on a Mid-2012 15" MacBook Pro

Some screenshots are attached.

Does anyone have some info about this?
Thanks!

Really no one? Would love to know what those symbols mean or why they're even there...

EDIT: Ok I found out by myself. Apparently, these are the Japanese days of the week. Why they are in Japanese on the Password screen is beyond me, as my system language is english and they switch back to english as soon as I log in.
