I am trying to connect to a wireless network with my macbook pro, 2 windows based laptops are fine.

The airport status says it is connected to the network. Network diagnostics says green for Airport, airport settings and network settings but failed for isp internet and server. when i open safari nothing happens. When i use network assissant the network appears, but is password protected. but when i type in the correct password it says invalid password.

very confussed

Any help recieved gratefully

Thanks

wireless problems

Not a network guy but I ran into the same problem with a WEP key generated by a Linksys wrt54. Changed the setting from WEP to WEP40 and was home free.
