I thought that it would be a nice idea to make a thread about what you want for your computers. I don't mean whole computers, just like upgrades, software, and accessories. And thigns that you can actually afford or could possible recieve, not something crazzy.

For my iBook, in the order of which I plan on getting:

    1. Carry case/Backpack
    2. Airport card and wireless router
    3. Crucial 512 MB PPC 133 Ram upgrade
    4. iCurve notebook stand
    5. S-Video Connector
    6. External CD-RW
    7. 17" LCD External Screen
    8. Eye TV
    9. Applecare Protection Plan

Note: If Panther must be bought, and I can't burn a copy off of someone else that will either be number one or two instead.

Interesting thread... Don't know if it's been done before, may have to make a little search :)

Well, what I want for my iBook, in no particular order:

-512MB SODIMM to replace the 256 that's in there
-New laptop case, probably the Brenthaven Pro Backpack for the 12PB (maybe I can convince my mom to buy me this, she wants me to get a backpack instead of the shoulder bag I use)
-A working Combo drive (I'll have this once I ship the machine off to Apple)
    -Another battery or two
    -An iCurve
    -Formac Studio DV or similar
-A little portable external HD would be nice
    -SuperDrive upgrade from http://www.mcetech.com\
    -External mouse and keyboard

    For my 700MHz G4 iMac:

    -1GB of RAM
    -160GB or so 7200RPM HD w/ 8MB cache
    -A set of SoundSticks
    -SuperDrive upgrade from http://www.mcetech.com
-One of those stands that twirls it around

Oh yeah, and a little friend for both my machines:

    A new Dual 970 PowerMac with 20" Cinema Display. >2GHz please! :D

    Things I would like

    1) an iBook that doesn't go into repair every three months ( don't take this as a pattern mine is probably a lemon :) )
    2) More ram...probably won't since 384 seems good for me but maybe.....
    3) black powermate from griffin
    4) my itrip to finally arrive
    5) a good remote, i have found nothing thats cheap and decent yet
    6) a laptop case from timbuk2 (already got a bag)
    7) more iskins for different days for my 20gb ipod

I should say that since i got my ibook in november i have already purcahsed the 384 ram upgrade, airport card, iskin cover for my keyboard (awesome), ext keyboard (aapl), ext mouse (m$), 17in dell crt (extremly good price :) equipped with display hack, powerpad, Monsoon Planar Media 9 speaker set, s-video/rca adapter, and a radtech screen protector.... i'm assuming i've arleady overspent which is why my list sucks....

    1. The next rev 15" powerbook.
    2. A slingpack I'm completely happy with that'll hold my stuff, including my powerbook.
    3. A new iPod with the same battery life as my original 10GB iPod, and without the problems people have been reporting.
    4. An airport extreme base station to replace/complement my existing airport base station (this has been ordered and is on its way!)

That's about it, really. I have all the software I want, and all the accessories I want that are available. There are a few I'd like that don't exist, but that's not the point of this thread. :D

Well, my wishlist has gotten big and it is growing for my iBook!

1 - External mouse (done! got a Logitech scroll-wheel optical)
2 - 512MB RAM (done! I just got the package)
3 - A carrying case, still no clue which one to get.
4 - External FW HD (low on disk space with the movies)
5 - A digital Camera to complement it.
    6 - An iPod!
7 - Airport card, but only if my DSL order goes through.
8 - Maybe a printer since my PC printer doesn't SAMBA well.

And ummm ... I can't think of anything else.
