i am looking to get a rare techno mix online. Its 15 for a cd or 5 for a download. Problem is, its WMA. (no itunes or ipod). if i download this, can i burn to a cd and then reimport at aac 160kbps? will it sound any different? anyone?

    Re: WMA conversion????

assuming there's no copy management on the WMA, then you can do what you propose.

however, as mactastic pointed out, you won't gain any fidelity. the _best_ you can hope for is that it won't sound any worse.
