Everyone involved into this business has to be as professional as he can. There are some details that make the difference. It is not only the constructing of a site. Someone has to collect information from people that want to have a site. Special documents and forms or questionnaires maybe used in such case. Other documents are word document templates with the logo in the header, so the documents look more professional. Other designers even would have print cd labels to the cd-version of the site they deliver. There would be also some pre-made documents that would hold useful information about the site, if a web designer do the hosting too (passwords, urls etc). What we call documentation. Maybe there are also many other documents, xls, or procedures that a web designer should take care in order to do a professional work. The whole process, from the first meeting of the web designer with the customer, to the final delivery of the site, should be done in discrete steps. Professionalism in mind. I would like to see your posts about it. Maybe posting some useful stuff (attach these docs described above), tell the whole process you use to do and any other advice on it.
