World of Warcraft Beta Signups This Week!
At 6:00 pm PST on Wednesday, January 28th, the signup period for the World of Warcraft Beta Test will officially begin. We will provide a link to the beta-test application right here in the news section at that time. Testers are not going to be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will be able to submit an application and receive equal consideration anytime during the signup period, which will end on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:00 pm PST. Please note that multiple submissions from the same household will result in complete disqualification.

They've been showing off the Mac version more than the Windows version.

thats great news, typically they have keep the beta testing in house on the mac version, but its good to know that its available. I think I will apply cause I have a good range of computers at my house to try it on, as well as every mac being sold right now.

    Better buy a new comp;)

I meet the hardware and software requirements, but not the geographical requirements. I thought the whole point of the Internet was that it was global

Well, you have to understand that it was started on the PC and that likely they haven't fully optimized for the Mac yet (certainly not by the beta stage). Cuz I know the Mac people that work for Blizzard are sharp fellows, so they will do their best for us.

I've been trying to sign up but I can't due to ActiveX error. Does this come on a different port that I may have closed on my router or firewall? Anybody know? Thanks in advance.

So, I'm guessing that the GeForce 4MX doesn't qualify, right? I have a Dual 1 Ghz QS just itching to play this game.
