From what I have read WoW goes universal binaries pretty soon, maybe even with the next patch.

Considering I play WoW with the pb in my sig an the Eizo Monitor in my sig at 1680x1050 with some settings on medium, some on low, and get good fps even in molten core, I think you'll be able to play it on native resolution on the 23" display with all settings on medium, maybe even some on high. If the universal binaries patch is out, that is.

Other games for the ppc platform won't run too good under Rosetta I think. I have read that ppc Photoshop runs only at about half - 2/3 the speed on the 2x2ghz Intel iMac compared tho the 2ghz G5 one. I don't know how one can compare this to games.

    Rollercoaster tycoon is slower.
    Sims 2 is slower.
    GhostMaster is slower
    Halo is slower...

You can see where I'm going with this.....

Until Universal Patches emerge then gaming is not a strong point for the intel macs....
