While I was waiting TWO hours on the phone yesterday for some tech help, I put together this page. I'm hard pressed to find a group of more horrifyingly bad songs.

I bought the Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by Shatner from iTMS a while ago. Sits on my iPod and cracks me up when I am feeling down.

Thanks Les! I'd heard Shatner's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds before, but not Mr Tambourine Man. The man's a genius.

Mr Tambourine Man? Mr Tambourine Man? :D

a lot of good duo's also had their share of bad songs.. one band that comes to mind is hall & oates.. don't get me wrong.. they have some seriously slammin' songs... but a lot of their material could be considered filler.. take the track "downtown life" from their 1988 oh yeah! lp.. i mean wtf is that song about? lol, walking dogs, and doing it downtown? lol :p

Gotta go with Captain and Tineal <sp>. I am sure there is an endless line of one hit wonders to fit this but these two singing Muscrat Love, could kill thousands within a 50mi radius of the speakers, i kid u not!

I kinda liked that Mr. Tambourine Man. It was catchy. I also think I might be a closet Shatner fan. His new single (Common People) gets much iPod play love.

That reminded me of that Simpsons where Lisa has a rival:

Lisa: Hey, I _am_ above average! So what if Alison's ahead of me?
There's no shame in being second.
    [imagines]
Announcer: And now, Avis Rent-A-Car is proud to present the second best
band in America. Will you welcome Garfunkel, Messina, Oates,
and Lisa singing their number two hit, "Born to Runner-up".
    [Audience boos]
Lisa: Why would they come to our concert just to boo us?
