    I have an Apple B/W g3 500Mhz with 512 RAM and 32Mb Radeon 7000 PCI

DO you think Halo would run on this machine, even with the low quality settings and the FSAA or what ever the antialiasing option is turned off, or would it be a watse of money.

If it won't run what are some similir games / FPS s that would run better on this machine

    What OS are you running?

If it's OS X and the Halo you are buying is the Mac version, it should work fine, albeit a little slow on the frames per second side of things (32MB isn't much for a game like Halo).

You could always check the Halo website. Google it!

    Good luck. :)

Well the min requirments are a 1ghz G4 and a geforce4 ti or radeon 9000 or higher. So i'd think it'd run, but it wouldn;t be very fun.

Min means nothing. The game isn't SMP capable, so instead of 2 867 CPUs im only stuck with one 867. Not 1 GHz. And it runs FINE. It probably will run like crap on your system, but minimum requirements are not always accurate.

In a couple of weeks the demo will be released. You can test it then.

I'm inclined to say save your money. Halo is a good game, but MacSoft didn't do the best porting job. I have a G4 933MHz and it runs like crap on the lowest settings.
