    Hey all,

I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to various types of RAM. Would two of these below fit in the new Mac Mini (the i7 edition)?

    Code:
    DDR3 8GB DDR1600 (PC3-12800) - KINGSTON Value [KVR16N11/8]
    Description: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL11 DIMM
    Detailed Specifications: Standard 1G X 64 Non-ECC 1600MHz 240-pin Unbuffered DIMM (DDR3, 1.5V, CL11, FBGA, Gold)
    Thanks!

No. You need 204-pin SO-DIMM (SO is small outline, designed for laptops originally).

    Ok, thank you!

Size 8GB .Performance Profile none .
    Fan Included No .
    Heat Spreader — .
    Memory Configuration SODIMM .
    Memory Type DDR3 .Package - Memory Pin 204 .
Package - Memory Format SODIMM .
    Tested Voltage 1.5 .
    SPD Voltage 1.5 .
    Speed Rating PC3-10600 (1333MHz) .
    SPD Speed 1333Mhz .
    Tested Speed 1333Mhz .
    Tested Latency 9-9-9-24 .

Only the second one. Here is Apple's reference page: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5475

Thank you very much for this precious info. 2x 8GB would then cost me about $70. Way cheaper than Apple RAM.

Thanks but I will not order in the US as I am in Europe.

As stated in an answer above, no, these two wouldn't fit as they are not SO-DIMM.
