Would you buy iLife 06 right now? even though ilife 07 will be out in 3 months
i am on ilife 05 and i could really use ilife 06
my mom is in iraq and with i web and .mac it would be easier to setup pictures of my daughter for her to view instead of emailing them to her with horendous load times
    iraq speed test anyone?

If you need it, odds are you could get it cheap from eBay.

Have you tried using .mac and iPhoto to create websites? I did this all the time (I now use iWeb) and it worked fine. I would try this out 1st.

If that's all you want it for, I'd say get .mac but just use the Homepage facility in iPhoto 5 with it. If it's only simple photo-sharing that you want to do, it's easier doing it with Homepage anyhow...

.mac has a 60 day trial which would get you to near the end of the year, and then you could hang on the last 6 weeks or so for iLife '07.

yeah it looks like you can set up a webpage pretty easily with just .mac alone (you don't even need iPhoto - any version) as long as you upload your image files to .mac.

Explore the .mac site 1st, this should give you the info you need to start.

    Wait for iLife '07.

Skip .mac too. If you're just looking to host pictures of your daughter, sign up for a free Flickr account,
