...and how much would you be prepared to pay for it incl. packing and shipping especially if you knew that they were a limited edition?

Definitely not saying these will be available or that this would be the final design but just posting this to gauge possible interest.

On a side note, I know there would be all sorts of demand for other merchandise but for now, I'm just talking about an MR coffee mug.

    Thanks

Kudos to me for the idea/inspiration :D

Oh, to answer the question, I'd take at least one.

So that's what the G5 notebook was supposed to look like... ;)

    I dunno, maybe $10-$15 USD.

Probably anywhere between $5 and $15 USD. Maybe $18 USD.

I think somewhere between £5-£10 would be fair, plus P+P.

EDIT: And yes, I would think about getting my grubby little hands on one, provided they were fairly priced and dishwasher proof. :)

This has been long talked-about way before you were even on the scene but thanks for bringing it up again. And no, you wouldn't get some points kicked upstairs... ;)

With reservation on price and shipping cost across the North Sea (round £7-8 each at the most?), I'd get two, maybe three. :)

Edit: Excellent, though very nerdy, Christmas gifts if they're cheap enough... :D

Edit: If they go for more than £10 I'd might have to do with one...

If I had money to burn I would, but right now I don't.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to make it a poll? You will get more answers and in a nice neat readable graph.

$10-$15 range, though perhaps up to $20.

Much depends on the quality and size of the cup (I like the cup pictured). Color choices would be nice.

I personally wouldn't get one but I think around $10-$15 USD plus shipping would be a good price.

I think it looks cool and I would be willing to spend $10-15 USD on one. A choice of colors would be great, too.

Aren't you supposed to be saving up for next year's London Picnic?

    I'd take a couple...

£5 - £10 seems reasonable and so reasonable that I would take a couple. Nice design! :)

Would this be like the old days where if you bought a mug, you would get Demi-God status, or is this just a merchandise deal?

I'm hoping it'll fuel a booze fund for the next MR London Meetup :D

It's all fairly airy speculation at the moment but no, no demi/contributor status. Just the mug.

    Woo hoo! :D

Oh yeah, I'll have a cup too... since I guess I won't have to pay shipping! ;)
Will help with some packing into boxes if needed though...

If I could get it for under US$20, then definitely. If much more, then maybe not. But probably.
