    Don't really like the colour...
...it's a bit too small for my liking...
...it doesn't look all that flash...
...that wouldn't fit both me and my girl...

Nah, I'm just kidding, it's your choice. It ain't half bad at all...at least it's not a HD. :D

Honestly, I don't like the headlights.

I wouldn't buy it, but I would at least take it for a test drive.

i wonder what you mean by being too old, wd ;)

i am 40 and i realize that the motorcycle shown is a young man's ride, but i would buy it if i had the money...of course, most people my age or older opt for the harley or honda classic looking bikes

...but there is still something fascinating about having a bike than can go faster than most cars out there...when i was in my teens and i used to see 40 somethings or older on fast bikes, they looked so ridiculous to me...it was as if they were going through a middle age crisis and it often went with a toupee or dyed hair, fake tans, and those stupid open buttoned silk print shirts ala rodney dangerfield

Not really, they're pretty reliable and the ones I've seen have never broken down. BUT!! if there is a problem, well then the parts can be expensive.

The Agusta is the same way.

You're good. 1998 Ducati Laverda 650 Ghost Strike. With 668cc.

that's just 'LAVERDA'. ducati aren't involved. laverda went out of business in the late 80's. someone bought the name and tried to revive the brand in the 90's, the ghost was one of those models. they didn't have much success. aprillia now own the name and have a 1000cc v-twin that might be released this year. (colour is LAVERDA orange)

Aren't Ducks a nightmare on upkeep?

    no.
one of those myths that keep going.
and reliability is great. no trouble with mine, a 748s.
an oil pressure switch did fail at 36,000km. cost $45 and 2 minutes to install.
