WoW through airport

    hi i have WoW on my macbook C2D 2.00GHz white, and i play it through airport, connected to my PPC G4 tower, that by its turn is connected to a router. and everytime i play wow thriugh the airpor i get 2000ms or more! what can i do to play at the normal rate i play when connected directly to the router?

    just buy a wireless exender that plugs into the router, making the router connection wireless, not you tower. you will never get reasonable latency going through a computer's wireless

    Use the Network Utility

    Hey there.
    Use the Application in the Utilities folder called Network Utility. Go to the Trace Route Tab and type in the World of Warcraft Web Address.

    It will then list the route to WoW servers and show you where you bottleneck is. If its on your network then sure buy/upgrade home kit... If its once its left you then you may want to think about changing your carrier... In my experience a trip to local starbucks and using their network you can pretty much eliminate your kit as the issue
