are there any freeware apps for writing scripts/dialogue. this probably sounds like a totally n00b thing to say, just im going away on Sunday to my girlfriends new house and we won't have anything but ourselves and laptops and i'd love to get cracking on this script i've been planning for a bit now.

just hope it doesn't become another Spaced :D

Something like Apple's own Script Editor (you find it in /Applications/Apple Script/)?

Hmm ... you'll be alone with your girlfriend and all you can think of doing is to write scripts?
