Like it says in the title, I would like to buy a 1st or 2nd gen iPod in the UK, perferably in London, ideally in good cosmetic condition, and obviously the mac version. ALso i would be interested in buying the in-line remote for the said iPod.

interested in just the remote? my 2nd gen's pretty much trashed and has no HD in it at the moment, but I'm perfectly willing to sell the remote, which is in good condition.. there is no cable damage nor port damage, nor any other damage to my knowledge, and it's in pretty good cosmetic condition.

Thanks for the offer Zach, but I would only be interested in buying the remote once I have the iPod.

the 1G only came in 5GB, that was my first ipod, i got it last year (summer 2004) for 165US on ebay and that was a steal...

    good luck

Anyone at all interested in selling me an older generation ipod???

yeah, obviously i didn't make much sense there. what i mean to say is i have a remote, so if you acquire an ipod without one, you know where to ask for it ^_^

i have a 5GB 1G ipod with an apple charger and a regular firewire cable. Its in good condition. I not really sure i want to sell it, but i wouldnt sell it for less than $140US

Very true. A 1G 5GB is worth about $75-$100 now, maybe even less.
