WTB: PowerMac G4

    I'm looking for a PowerMac.

    I'm open to anything up to the highest end of the Quicksilvers, but I have neither the money or the interest in any MDDs or G5s.

    Cubes would also be welcome.

    I have a G4 Sawtooth for sale. Here are the specs:

    1.2 GHz OWC Processor upgrade
    Pioneer DVD-RW/CD-RW
    Radeon 9000 Video card
    80 Gig Main HD
    120 Gig Spare HD
    1.25 Gig RAM
    Linksys wireless card
    PCI SCSI card
    Currently running Tiger
    I also have an external Zip drive for it.

    don't think i have nearly the cash for that, that's why i didn't want an MDD or something similar...

    i won't even disgrace you with an offer but i'll tell you i just had to turn someone down on a machine around 600 dollars, so i could hardly afford yours :p

    thanks for the interest though.

    just to clarify a little: i'd much prefer to purchase a machine under 500 dollars, anything more than that is a real stretch on my current finances and most likely will not happen.

    So...why not a Mac Mini? I mean, I just want to know why a Power Mac G4.

    Mine is probably in your price range then. The thread is above. Great machine. It MAY be going to a local print shop though. But it's up in the air.

    i can bult you custom spec on one of my powermacs for 600 or less
    i also have a mac mini for sale for $540
