My brother happens to have graduation on the same day at the same time as the keynote. So, I can't see it live v__v.

From Apple's press release:

Apple® will broadcast its WWDC 2013 keynote address using Apple’s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards.

Does anyone know of any non-Apple product that implements this "open standard"?

To me, this just sounds like marketing-speak, but I think they're referring to the mpeg4 (H2... whatever) they use vs. something like Silverlight or other plug-in based streaming.

Cool, but I'll still just check back and forth on the engadget live blog.

Actually, I'll do the live stream as well but audio only.

I have a class from 1:30 - 3:10 today... Should I watch the first 30 minutes live and then come back afterwards to watch the rest or should I watch the entire thing after class?

You won't be able to watch the first 30 mins. You'll kill youself if they are in the middle of reviewing OSX or iOS :D

cmon...give them a credit for coming to WWDC

I'm talking about the guys who sit at home refreshing pages like Engadget and then relay the information on their live YouTube stream. They usually remind their subscribers on the week leading up to WWDC that their gonna be covering WWDC so people should come to their channel on the day, so when Apple suddenly decide to stream to WWDC live it makes them look a bit silly. :)

I know there won't be a MacPro announcement. But I will still watch hoping, praying, there will be.

Why do I torture myself?
