I am trying to figure out the whole WWDC thing... I don't understand it that well and I am most likely going to buy an iBook soon. What happens and what do they do at the WWDC ... is it on TV or what? How do we find out the results...

I'm new to the Mac community (sort-of) so I'm still finding out stuff..

    Thanks,

    Lilstewart92

    World Wide Developers Conference

    http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/

Mostly for developers, but Steve Jobs will be giving a keynote speech there tomorrow.

Keep an eye on MacRumors.com for details

Its was a conference for developers to show off their stuff, but recently its more just another show like MWSF.
New and major products releases are normally announced and talked about during the presentation/keynotes that Steve Jobs delivers . He also talked about how the company is doing with sales and ITMS downloads and how they have control of the market.

Ok to start off, there are three main times of the year when apple tries to release new stuff. 1st one is MWSF (jan) 2nd one is WWDC (june) and thirdly Apple Expo Paris (sep)
ok..Steve gives a keynote..starts at 10AM PST. Sometimes these keynotes are broadcasted over Quicktime..sometimes not. In the case of tomorrow i dont think it is being broadcasted at all.
It is about an hour and a half long..and what usually happens is that the forums close down over here, because there is just too much traffic when these thangs occur. Then there is just the front page and it gets updated every 5 minutes or so. Usually there is someone at WWDC and they sit and feed us the info..so it is almost real-time..almost. Macrumors isn't the only site that gives live updating. Usually you also have Macbidouille and some other sites. The best way...the way i prefer is on IRC. Just join the macrumors channel, and you get all the updates. You can download a simple app made especially for these type of things...I will Edit my post to add it alter...need to find it first..

    Ok well hope that helped.

    Peace

Edit: ok well i am a bit late but i think you have got the gist of it.. here is the Linky to download the IRC client. It is a read only client so you cant type messages while the event is happening.
