X-Apple programmer developing music sharing program for OS X

    Called iCommune, this program is different from Napster. It lets you share music with folks on a buddy list.

    RIAA shut down a company last year that had a similar program alled Aimster. Nice try but despite what Speth thinks or believes, it is illegal to share music with your buddys. I'm sure RIAA will be contacting him soon.

    well Apple already had him shut down his prior version of the program a little while ago (you can find threads on it), but it looks like he is making a new stand-alone version. good to see people trying to keep the file-sharing alive, but I think its on its last legs now.
