I have a wireless Comcast internet modem at home connected to a PC, and an xbox 360 that is about 10 ft away, and a 2.5Gh G5 mac upstairs in the office with an airport card. The download speeds on the Mac appear to be much faster than on the xbox 360 using the MS wireless antenna. I was downloading an xbox live game trailer and the 60mg file was only 25% downloaded after 15 minutes. I normally see 500kbs/sec on the Mac and up to 700 or 800 on the PC

    Thoughts?

It can depend on how many people are on live and downloading.

Quite often you will find a new (or sometimes old) file released - such as a demo and whereas it may only take a set time normally, all of a sudden it seems to take forever.

There are other times where a 400mb file can be quicker than a 150mb.

I guess it depends on server load, server capacity etc...
