    wow. i'm glad i'm not gonna run panther on my iMac 400. i got a new iMac now, and it's much faster. i feel sorry for those of you with panther on an older iMac.

    this seems really strange. everyone with old macs has said panther is much better.

    The system is 10.2.6 I wonder if that makes a difference.

    Does anyone else have any results? I will after tomorrow :)

    I will bet a lot of this has to do with "only" 384MB RAM. XBench is very erratic with systems that have less than 512MB RAM. I think a lot of this has to do with how the swap file is used...
