This is probably a dumb question, but is there any chance of hooking the xbox 360 to a 24" iMac?
I know I've seen a way to do this somewhere... Have you tried Google? Post back if you find anything.
connecting xbox360 to your imac
there's an app called connect360 that will allow you to connect your xbox360 to your imac.
it works pretty well. enjoy.
But you cannot use the iMac as a monitor for the 360, right?
A TV card should do this, correct? One of those USB jobbies. I can remember using an Xbox on a Dell with a Hauppauge TV card. But the big drawback, it was laggy because the TV mode was in a small windowed screen so when you enlargened it it looked like crap and performed bad.
Edit, now I think of it this would be a poor choice since the 360 would not be able to utilize HDTV mode even if you were to go through all this.
Nope. I don't think there are any devices or software out there that will enable you to use your iMac's screen as a monitor to other computers / devices. If you know something that does let you do so, I do want to know too. Happy New Year.
iMac for a monitor
This should do the trick.
Don't expect high-def, though - it'll be 480i resolution most likely.
Yeah, that's the problem. It's a shame though, having to play the 360 on my small 20" Dell screen when the 24" iMac is just sitting there, laughing at me...
