Xerox printers gain iPhone support

    but there's still no way to print directly from the device without using another device to actually do the rendering & driving (i.e. send iphone doc to computer to print doc).

    This is not for printing from the iPhone, but an interface for management of documents on print servers and digital copiers.

    Printing from the iPhone would be pretty neat. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple added this feature somewhere down the line.

    I have a nice list of things I would like to be able to do from the iPhone itself. One being play music off the iPhone to an AirTunes enabled device (AppleTV or Airport Express).

    Printing

    printing would be sweet but ... The iPhone is not powerfull enought to render print pages

    Are you sure about that? I'm not convinced that's it's not doable.

    how powerfull does it need to be I mean a 600 mhz CPU I had a desktop jus 100 mhz stronger and it printed fine....and come on isn't "cloud computing" the new thing isnt it possible to render it through the "cloud" it might do it slow but I think its capable of printing.......
