Xgrid controller only in Server...

    Now what is this supposed to be - I install the new xgrid agent in Panther, and the controller and client just simply dissapear - now I can play the calculating puppet for big institutions that can afford Tiger Server just for the fun of it.

    No thanks - poor show, really really really poor show.
    I go back to installing stuff manually - this way at least I'm not limited to only Macs - but can use a whole lot of calculating power idling on x86 CPU's

    Bah, disgusting! :mad:

    So what, Apple has been rolling a bunch of stuff out of the regular OS into Server for quite awhile.

    You used to be able to host quite a bit of stuff on the regular OS, but are now hit with concurrent user limits.
