Sure have been using yiddish. Not much though. The only yiddish I use out that list is 'nosh'.

hm i found it very funny that some words sound just some german dialects or have the same meaning

    examples:
gey shlofn - geh schlafen ( but the yiddish sound exatly like the dialect)
    mentsh - Mensch
    shlep - schleppen
    shviger - zb Schwieger-(sohn,vater),schwager
    shvitsn - schwitzen
    shmuz - Schmutz
    kreftik - kräftig
    shlekht - schlecht
    tumul -Tumult
    genuk - genug
    shnorer - Schnorrer
    plats - platzen
    handl - handeln
    mishmash - Mischmasch
    gelt -Geld

thx for the link very interesting and yes i gues i am in the group who uses yiddish words all the time

of course many of the words sound the same and have the same meaning of german, yiddish is a combination of german and hebrew....I use a bunch of yiddish words (and a phrase or two)
