You have to see this!- Virginia Tech's Supercomputer

    I don't know if this is the right place to put this or not, but oh well. Have any of you heard about the supercomputer that Virginia Tech built out of Power Mac G5's. I thought this was pretty amazing. They used 1100 clustered PMG5's. That's 2200 processors! :eek: Watch the video, it's very impressive!

    Yeah, I thought I had heard something about it before, but I had never seen what it looked like.

    Really, really, REALLY old news. You haven't been hiding under a rock the last few years, have you? :)

    Since that video was made, they have already replaced all those PMG5s with Xserves.
