That used to happen to my MBP all of the time! And it was on a 3 month old system....FML. Luckily, Apple was able to fix up Tiger for Intel pretty quickly.

Your laptop bag has an iBook and a Powerbook crammed in it, just in case one quits working.

You know your Mac is old when the box it came in including its documentation is worth more than the Mac itself.

I get that with my Blackbook quite often. Makes me kinda sad inside. Have yet to get it with my TiBook or my PB180.

You know your Mac is old when you spend time reading and posting on a PowerPC forum.

I practically lived in a Starbucks after school for three years and no one ever asked about my BlackBook. I'm tempted to take the G3 in one of these days...

I used my BlackBook daily at the aforementioned chain up until June of this year. That machine has joined my retired fleet of Macs.

On the contrary my Mac seems like it is not growing old, still strong as ever.

I feel the same way about my G5, especially since I just keep adding more and more to it, but the iMac G4 was the one that froze.

This is a funny thread. Keep going. :D
