That used to happen to my MBP all of the time! And it was on a 3 month old system....FML. Luckily, Apple was able to fix up Tiger for Intel pretty quickly.

I get that with my Blackbook quite often. Makes me kinda sad inside. Have yet to get it with my TiBook or my PB180.

I used my BlackBook daily at the aforementioned chain up until June of this year. That machine has joined my retired fleet of Macs.
On the contrary my Mac seems like it is not growing old, still strong as ever.
I feel the same way about my G5, especially since I just keep adding more and more to it, but the iMac G4 was the one that froze.
