Just wondering where people get the majority of their gaming info (hopefully not from these forums :D)

I used to be a Gamespot guy, but they started to really irrate me.

Now I pretty much use IGN, and Eurogamer.net. I really like that Eurogamer has the balls to rip high profile games (like GoW) even if it is European news/dates/updates which don't always apply to me.

So! What other sites are good to look at?

I generally read most of them.

IGN, Gamespot, Eurogamer - get a good going over.

Not too keen on 1up - i simply dont trust their information / news / reviews at all.

I do Joystiq everyday, with Gamespot my main reference site, though I'd really like to find a better one.

    And it's Winter-een-mas time again! :D

For my gaming news it's IGN and Kotaku. For all gaming discussions, though, it's the MR forums.
I also get EGM delivered (hey, it's free), but by the time I get the issue, I've already read all of the editorials, reviews & previews online.

(and this topic was posted a few months back - almost to the day)

Which reminds me, the PS3 vs. Wii video hasn't been posted in a few weeks. :p

No problem. Blues is one of my favorites. I downloaded the Original Quake I Co-op mod from them.... almost 11 years ago. I've been gaming a long time, and these are the sites I trust and enjoy most.

Shacknews covers both the US and Europe, and they get some exclusive scoops quite often. My favorite part is their "Evening Consolidation", where the summarize the days gaming news into a few paragraphs.

It's a hilarious comic. The best part is, I know people like that. It's crazy, but funny at the same time.

Oh yeah, CAD and Penny-Arcade are two of the best gaming related webcomics. I used to like PvP, but it kinda got old and stale.

What's really sad though, is I've followed the whole story line.

    OMG....
How can I leave out one of the best game(kinda) sites EVAR!!!!

Freakin Red vs. Blue. I have followed their twisted and demented story since season 1 and have the entire series in .mov, and have immensly enjoyed every episode. Freakin' hilarious machinama series using the Halo engine.

For news, I go to Joystiq, Gamespot [News], and Magic Box [News].

    For reviews...I don't really trust anyone ;)

I'll glaze over reviews if it's a game I'm interested in, but considering how shoddy I find reviewers nowadays - I don't put more than a grain of salt into what they say. Reviewers appear to be either biased or blatantly ignorant these days...much in the same vein as my good old friend Nick Rox. (totally kidding there, I'd kick that guy in the crotch the first chance I got for hating Street Fighter Zero (Alpha outside of Japan) on the Saturn because the super shadows weren't blue)

Good point. I guess I don't really trust any one place for reviews but rather I use them as points for forming my own opinion on a game. Heck, I even use you all (the MR games section) for forming a basis on what games to look at.

Just Kotaku. No other sites needed IMO, they streamline all the important info I'm after.

GameRankings.com also. They take all the major sites reviews and compile them into their online datbase. Pretty nifty.

I back that 100% Jimmi. I read just kotaku, they cover every content on most gamming blogs. Also their writers almost feel like relatives because they put a lot of personal meaning in their articles. GO KOTAKU"ITES!

I check neoGAF religiously. No other site needed IMHO. Everything is there as soon as it happens. I have gonintendo on my RSS feed too.

    Gamespot.com and insidemacgames.com . . . . I am surprised no one has mention the latter.
